The shape of the board is also very unusual and has a lovely feature in the tied ears of wheat at the base of the board. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe motto is the French equivalent of Give Us This Day Our Daily Bread. It reads, “Donnez Nous Notre Pain Quotidien”. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis is a solid piece. It has a scrubbed finish, the result of where it has been cleaned over the years, but waxing would add more depth of colour. There are a number of old worm holes across these piece.
