This is a listing for an antique white ironstone Gourmet Pie Cup funnel, dating from the early 1900s.
This Edwardian pie vent is a classic example of white ironstone kitchenalia featuring black transfer print advertising in a belted logo. The beautifully designed bell shaped ironstone pie funnel was subject to a patent.
Still practical enough for use today to allow steam to escape from the middle of homemade pies, they are lovely pieces of kitchenalia for display in the kitchen too.
This pie funnel is an excellent example, with no cracks or cracks. There is a tiny knock to the top of the vent and general wear from use on the base. Overall, though, it's a lovely clean example with a very clear transfer logo.
