Antique Early 20th Century White Ironstone Soup Tureen By Societe Ceramique

A wonderful Dutch antique white ironstone soupiere, soup tureen or casserole dish, dating from the early part of the twentieth Century.

Made by Société Céramique, and bearing the maker’s mark on its base, this beautiful and elegant white ironstone lidded serving dish would make a wonderful addition to a white ironstone collection.

The soupière has neatly scuplted handles, which help to give the tureen a stunning and stand out look to it.

Considering its age, the tureen is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. There is light crazing all over but there is no staining and just a few areas of discolouration and age marks on the piece.

These tureens are excellent to use for display around the home and are perfect for adding a country or rustic farmhouse touch to any interior.
