This is a nice example of a white enamel 'Brush Holder' dating from the early 20th Century.

In fair condition for its age, this brush holder is overall quite clean externally and is complete with its rarely seen inner drainer section. The black 'Brush Holder' is in art deco style typography.

This brush holder has suffered some wear in its lifetime. Most notably, there is a small hole in the base and part of the rim of the inner section has also worn away. There is rust and wear inside the brush holder, including on the underside of the drainer, I suspect from being left with standing water in the base over time.

The outside of the brush holder is remarkably clean, though, with the typography still very clear. This therefore makes it perfect as a display item, perhaps in a laundry or utility room.
