Antique 19th Century Carved French Wall Panel

A beautifully carved and very tactile carved French wooden panel, dating from the 19th Century.

This is a beautiful piece of panelling, with deeply carved cornucopia weaving across it, as well as a nicely carved border. Likely to have originally been part of a piece of furniture, this panel would now make an unusual decorative feature in the home.

There is some wear to the carving in places, leading to some light loss and minor discolouration in places. It has also accumulated some age and dirt over the years but this could be thoroughly cleaned and waxed to give it a renewed look if the aged look is not desired. Otherwise, it is in very good condition with just some mild water damage on the back.
