Antique Edwardian White Porcelain Berry Strainer with Gilt Edged Detailing
This is a stunning white ceramic circular berry strainer, dating from the early 1900s.
This Edwardian strainer bowl is very typical of its time, with three beautifully sculpted lion’s feet and finished with gilt edging around the piece.
This bowl is ideal used on display as part of a kitchenalia collection, and is good for day to day use when washing or peeling fruit and vegetables.
In it in very good condition, with no crazing and just minor wear to the feet. There is a surface crack to the glaze inside the bowl, which has stained a little, however this doesn’t penetrate through and is still stable.
