Rare Antique Edwardian Large White Ironstone Rolling Pin – Advertising Allinson Flour

rare antique edwardian white ironstone advertising ceramic rolling pin allinson wholemeal flour

A nice example of an Edwardian white ironstone advertising rolling pin, with clear black transfer print typography around the pin.

These ceramic rolling pins date from early 20th Century and feature a central ironstone pin with oak handles at each end.

The advertising reads:

“USE Allinson WHOLEMEAL FLOUR FOR ALL PURPOSES”

This rolling pin makes a fantastic ironstone display piece for any antique kitchenalia collector.

This piece of antique advertising ware is ideally used for display purposes, as there is a small amount of damage at one end of the ceramic pin. A small part of the ceramic has broken away next to the handle on one end, which would make this difficult to use. This has fallen into the main body of the pin.

However, apart from a small patch of light crazing to the glaze on the back of the pin, this is otherwise in very good order.

Length, 48cm; Diameter, 7cm

UK delivery included; international delivery £30 maximum depending on location.
