This is a delightful ironstone toilet pull handle, complete with a chain, to use on a high level cistern.

Dating from the early 20th Century, this has a wonderful antique patina to it.

With an undetglazed black transfer print which is still strong and clearly legible, the word ‘PULL’ is located beneath.

Although I suspect the chain is not original, this is attached ready for use. This could easily be replaced if a different style is preferred.

The whole piece has crazed glazing, creating a lovely patina. Some of this has stained a little, and there are also some minor nibbles to the bottom of the pull. There is also a small knock to the brass topper. Overall, though, it’s in good condition.

A great decorative and authentic antique piece which will make a charming feature in a bathroom.
