Antique Early 20th Century Large Plain White Ironstone Lidded Apothecary Jar
A beautiful example of a crisp white ironstone large plain apothecary jar, complete with its original lid.
Dating from the early 20th Century, these large sized apothecary pots aren’t often seen in plain white, especially with their original lids. It’s perfect for use as a vase or for decoration around the home.
Overall, the pot is in good condition. There are some minor nibbles to the base of the lid and the top lid of the pot, as well as light crazing which is notable on the lid. There is also a small grease mark on one side of the pot, caused from use. The grease has seeped through a small firing fault on the inside of the pot where there is a small firing crack. However, this isn’t substantial in size and isn’t notable on display, as it only affects one side of the pot.
