Antique 19th Century Pillivuyt Mehun Coquille St Jacques Plain White Ceramic Dishes
A beautiful set of four antique French scallop or coquille St Jacques dishes.
Dating from the latter part of the 19th Century, these dishes were made by Charles Pillivuyt of Mehun. In French porcelain, they still have a great bright white colour to them. Ideal for use when entertaining, these dishes also look lovely on display.
Considering their age, these dishes are in excellent condition. They are all very clean with minimal age spots and no crazing. One of the dishes does have a small chip to the base edge, which isn’t overly notable when in use.
