Antique 19th Century White Ironstone Trinket Dish with Pouring Lip
This is a sweet little white ironstone dish, ideal for use as a small serving or trinket dish.
Dating from the 19th Century, this ironstone dish would originally have been part of a larger unit, possibly used in a shop, restaurant of cafe, to pour goods into smaller containers.
Now a small dish in its own right, its pouring lip in one corner makes it ideal for use as a small serving or measuring dish in the kitchen. It’s also the perfect size for trinkets or keys.
In reasonable condition for its age, there is wear and some nibbles to the base rim, and there is also a hairline on one side. However, the dish is still very stable and very usable.
