A beautifully shaped antique wirework egg basket, in the shape of a chicken, dating from the 1930s.

This French wirework basket is in excellent condition. Narrower in shape than other similar baskets, the chicken is very handsome.

A nice large size, this basket can comfortably hold a dozen eggs.

This basket has aged well, with just some fading and wear in places, and an odd paint splash on it.
